Het is waar: Als de arcering hapert word de tekening niets anders dan een kluster chaotische lijnen, nooit en te nimmer een ruimtelijk beeld verkrijgend.
Het uitgangspunt van de Tekenmanifestatie uit 1996 van de Bicballpoint arceertekeningen en projecten erna, en de Arceertechniek als zodanig inmiddels als lesaanbod-onderdeel tijdens de tekenlessen op de WDKA onmisbaar.
De arcering als drager van de vormgeving van de site was er al, maar het netwerk, de wortelstructuur, het zwartpaarse landschap van ingekerfde kanalen en opgeworpen dijken, is altijd de basis gebleven voor mijn werk.
De lijn as startpunt voor een concept, een gedachte, een schilderij een object of een installatie.
